Housed in the former BEACH restaurant, this is Ben Tunnicliffe’s family friendly, informal beach side eatery where the focus is on quality, local produce and sea food in a fun, relaxed and friendly environment.
Our beach-side restaurant at Sennen Cove occupies one of the most impressive dining locations in the country, commanding spectacular views over this rugged and unspoilt bay in West Cornwall.
Situated on the ground floor of the Beach Complex we have our takeaway. Here we are open daily during the season serving hot drinks, ice creams, pasties, sandwiches, burgers, chips, breakfast rolls and much more. We also have a specials board where we may serve homemade soup, homemade chicken goujons or Sennen caught mackerel baps (subject to availability). Pasties are delivered daily and our hot food is all cooked to order. Opening hours do vary according to the time of year but generally we work from Easter to the end of September.
A surf & beach hire shop facility is available on the ground floor of the Beach Complex. Here you can hire beginner surfboards, intermediate surfboards, wetsuits, body boards and fins. For those of you not wanting to go into the water we have deck chairs, sun loungers and windbreaks. Normal opening hours are 10am until 6pm, seven days per week. These hours may vary during the off-season. We try to act responsibly as to when we hire surfing equipment with regard to safety; if the lifeguards have the red flags flying (dangerous bathing) then we will not hire out any surf equipment. Please take the lifeguards advice at all times.
Even though the sun may not be shining the Cornish coast is stunning whatever the weather, and the welcome is always warm here at Sennen Beach.

There are three car parks in the vicinity of the beach at Sennen. The closest is the car park directly adjacent to the beach (please see adjacent charges). At the top of the hill is a large field that acts as an over flow for the beach-side car park during busy periods. This is about a five minute walk up the hill. Be advised that the beach-side car park may fill by 10am during peak holiday times. At the western end of the cove, beyond the lifeboat station is another smaller car park operated by the Sennen Cove harbour commissioners.
The car parks are patrolled by Armtrac security services and parking enforcement notices are in use.

By order of the council dogs are banned on the beach at Sennen from the 1st May – 30th September from 8am – 7pm. Dogs are however permitted on Gwynver beach at the northern end of the bay.
